Sources, cadence, and the lines this site does not cross.

Wait Time Report is a live board plus a history layer for theme-park wait times and U.S. border crossing waits. This page is the complete accounting of where every number comes from.

Sources

• Live posted wait times: primarily the free public API of Queue-Times.com, which aggregates the estimates parks publish in their own apps and at ride entrances. Attribution appears on every page that shows their data, per their terms. A second, open source - the themeparks.wiki API, which reads the same official park feeds - serves as an automatic fallback for most parks and is the primary source for parks Queue-Times does not carry (the Disney water parks, Universal Studios Singapore and several regional water parks). Each park page credits the source that actually supplied its data.
• Typical-day statistics: this site's own tracking. We sample every park every 10 minutes, store the raw snapshots, and aggregate them into hourly averages in each park's local time. These statistics are ours, carry the number of tracked days behind them, and appear only once at least 3 days of data exist. Tracking began August 27, 2026 and covers 47 days so far.
• Border crossing wait times (/border/): the keyless public XML feed of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Border Wait Times service (public domain). CBP officers at each port post an estimated wait to primary inspection for travelers entering the United States, by lane type; we republish the figure, its status word and CBP's own posting stamp unchanged, fetch the feed every 10 minutes, and aggregate our snapshots into typical-by-hour patterns in each port's actual time zone (curated by hand, because the feed's time-zone labels are wrong for several ports). Crossing names, states and URLs are curated, not derived from the feed, so a CBP rename never moves a page; border tracking covers 41 days so far.

Cadence and freshness

Pages rebuild several times a day with the numbers current at build time, stamped with the exact UTC time; with JavaScript on, every park and ride page refreshes itself from the live layer every two minutes. The live layer updates every 10 minutes around the clock.

What this site does not do

No crowd predictions, no touring plans for sale, no "actual wait" estimates, no affiliation with any park operator or government agency. Posted times belong to the parks and to CBP; our statistics are labelled as ours.
